I've seen these charts.

To get to the top 1%, you will have years and years of experience. I saw an article on Forbes, best paid ceo's i think, they were earning 100+ million, but they were older had stock options and if i remember correct, quite a few were in the medical industry.

redninjaLOL @ pilots

Do you know how much private pilots make? Most fly at for at least 3 to 5 owners. Their flight time rate easily exceeds 1000 an hour. Usually get around 1000 a day for the duration of the travel and get an on call salary that easily tops 5k a month per plane. So yes I find it easy that pilots can make upwards of 500k a year flying an average of 300 hours a year and around 2 to 3 months of travel time.

but at least it's fun.

You can dis on them all you want, but most of them will earn far more then the average wall streeter will in his lifetime.

Not dissin.

when I was in high school I actually planned to be a pilot. Was this close to joining the air force.

If I disagree with you, it's because you're wrong.

I was sort of confused with the chart. Why isn't entrepreneur/business owner higher up on the list? I thought that like 1/3 of millionaires had their own business.
