How to embed video in WSO?

Career Resources
Most video sites have a "Share" or "Embed" option where you just copy the code and paste it in the text box here on WSO
If it's from YT, press the "share" button while viewing it on YT and it will give you a link that you can copy/paste to here.
Also, there's a FAQ somewhere on this site that explains all of that. I wasn't able to find it however...
For YT:
1) Look for "About" about 1.5" directly under the video. Next to it is "Share", click that.
2) You will see options pop scroll in from the right, select "Embed" (to the right of "Share this Video", directly under "Share")
3) Copy code and paste in the WSO comment box. Put it on the next line after your text.
For some reason when I paste the embed code from YouTube it does not work. Have you ever heard of this happening @"Wallstreetoasis.com"?
I haven't, can you post the code here? Just remove the first "" and it'll show up as text

NOTE: When you first post it and it takes you to the comment, it might not show up. It never shows up for me, I just see a blank space where the video should be. Reload the thread and you'll see it.

Haha thanks, and one other thing: when a WSO user's name has a space in it like mine, you have to type @D M with quotes around it for it to work
glad this was worked out...always annoying when people just link to the video instead of embedding so we can all enjoy directly

Few hours back, I was searching the same, but nothing worked out, then I contacted their customer support. I was doing a silly thing which many of you must have did :P
To make it work, just 1. Copy the video URL, 2. Go to your post > edit > go advanced 3. Click the icon "Insert Link" and then paste your link in the dialog box 4. Hit Save Changes and its there :)
Note: Preview Changes won't show the video
