How to find day to day motivation

So I'm a year in now, and the job is fine. Very busy periods but on average hasn't been that horrible. Sucks when I'm with friends or family and need to work for 4-5 hours straight however.

Outside of work, I manage to still workout pretty regularly and hang out with friends every weekend or two minimum, and keep on the phone with family members. Outside of this, I spend hours every weekend in the mornings doing PE prep so I can sign up for another job similar to this with more stress. The motivation is money, but with the real money being many years away, how do you keep pushing yourself? My ego and competitiveness play in to it but that gets withered away by the sacrifices you have to keep making to succeed in this job. And if you just want to be the best analyst, you need to give up on a lot of the other stuff, like friends and fitness it feels like.
