HS Senior looking for advice on choosing colleges

Hello. I'm looking for advice on choosing colleges that would help me get into IB. Currently, I have finalized Carleton, Colgate, and Colby. I mainly want to know the matches and safeties that would help me the most. My SAT score is 1550. Also, please tell me how to research more about this field as well as book suggestions. Thank you!

1550 and no Ivy?

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I have finalized Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, and Duke, but I didn't mention them since I already know they are target schools. I basically want to finalize my matches and safeties list while considering how much they will be helping me in this field.
