Suppose you were given the choice of two powers and could only pick one. Which would you pick and why?
A: You have the ability to achieve unlimited educational and professional success. You can get into any school you want, any job you want, and thrive in all those environments. Making tons of money is obvious.
OR
B: You are utterly average in terms of money and accomplishments. However, you have this hypnotic power to sleep with and date any woman you desire.
i think A would largely lead to B.

We're on the same wavelength bro. I too agree that A will allow one to achieve a good chunk of B. You may not get ALL women you desire, but prestige, wealth, and accomplishments, allow men to get very attractive women.
I bet he'd rather get into Harvard then stopping time (which btw is the best fictional superpower)
But for this case, clearly A. I dont see how being average will allow me to get so many women.

"A" would be the way to go. As everyone else pointed out, A leads to B, with the exception of getting 'any' girl...it would more likely be 'almost' any girl.
I just don't see the marginal benefit in having sex with XYZ superstar actress or super model vs the high quality gold diggers you could pull if you went with A. In my mind, you are giving up a lot (success and wealth) just to have sex with a particular Brazilian, Asian, Russian, European, etc. when you could have sex with ten others that look just like her but aren't famous or well known or haven't been discovered.

With proper strategy and management, both superpowers can do the exact same thing, they just approach the issue from opposing sides.
Mastery and proper management of A can obviously lead to prowess in B - as is observable in select cases in the real world.
And, though more rare or less discussed, true mastery and strategy of B can lead to the results of A quite nicely as well.
B.. just get a chick who's due to inherit some private islands... its so much easier. who the fuck actually likes going to school?
B. seduce & marry a billionaire's daughter and bada-bing bada-boom, you have A while still having the power to cheat on her with anyone in the world
