I had it originally but then one of my friends convinced me to change it early this morning... a 13 seed has advanced out of the first round 4 years straight.... not including this year.

Farieeeeeed. I also changed it last minute. Never second-guess yourself. Yet, I always second-guess myself.
Eddie, Butler has made ONE deep run, and that was last year. The only other time they outperformed expectations was in 2003 when they went to sweet 16 as a #12 seed.
Old Dom is in generally a shittier program than Butler, but it's not like they weren't capable of pulling off an upset... and they nearly did.

How'd that logic work out for you?
Dude, OD lost by a last minute basket. Pure luck was the determining factor. OD wasn't a bad bet. Didn't work out so well, but w/e, I'd take that bet again.

8 vs. 9 games are 50/50 statistically, so it wouldn't have really been an upset.

the point is that going with OD was not a bad bet. that is all
Sounds like we've got some positive outcomes from the first round. Cartman, I don't fault your logic and yes, it was a good bet. Just not the best bet.
I'm pretty much wasted, guys. I can't be responsible for anything I say from this point forward.
You guys will hate me for this, but I didn't even fill one out this year. I'm so far out of the loop on college basketball (something I normally follow fairly closely) this year that I couldn't even tell you who the top seeds are.

Without even looking: Kansas to win it all.
Neither do I. All I did was choose the higher seed, randomly picking an upset or two. Then say Duke wins it all.

yo ditto... i also had OD over Butler... SO CLOSE. i lost out on 3 picks by a combined 5 points. fucking a.
Serious question: Why would you ever bet against Butler in the first round?
on another note, i'm going to be so pissed if vandy loses to richmond... currently not looking great.
I've called them all right so far haha.
Princeton V Kentucky.... tell me people are watching this.
You called morehead over louisville?!

.
i'm 0-4 and all my games have been lost in the final seconds! Clemson screwed me by basically handing them the ball 3 times in a row.
3-1 so far, Louisville was a tough loss. KY has me a little worried, I need them to bury Princeton after that Harvard game.
Only wrong pick was Louisville so far... Waiting to start my annual crash and burn sequence...
My girlfriend picked Morehead St. in her bracket.
Obviously.
Phew, Kentucky made it through. 3 of 5
4/5 so far, but a Kentucky loss would have completely screwed my bracket. Fucking Louisville...
I'm still ok b/c all the team screwed me in the first round I never had making to the second so hopefully my 2nd round will be ok.
San Diego State is playing like a women's YMCA rec league team apparently. I can't watch it but the stats don't look good.
I also got Richmond beating Vandy and beating Morehead next round......

goddamn it vandy
COME ON RICHMOND YEAHHHH
7/8. Only person that has more possible points than me is patrick. ridiculous
ugh, just 4/8 but the fact that i had vandy/penn st. going to 16 hurts a lot more shit year for me lol
fucking vandy and fucking Louisville. Fucking assholes. I'm going to the bar to partake in Guiness, Smithicks, and Jameson.

How many people called Richmond winning?!? I def did!
I did.
i did. 10/11 so far.
8/12, but if Zags and Mizzou pull off upsets, I'll be in much better shape at the end of the day.
8-4 so far, and MSU and St. Johns are losing big. Probably will be 10-6 on the day. I hate when my bracket is destroyed on the first day.
i have UCLA going to the final 4.
13-3 with the most possible points in my group
My bracket making-performance is inversely correlated to the rewards of winning the league they are made for.
11-5, but the problem is 2 of those losses were supposed to make the sweet 16...
