I had it originally but then one of my friends convinced me to change it early this morning... a 13 seed has advanced out of the first round 4 years straight.... not including this year.

i'm 0-4 and all my games have been lost in the final seconds! Clemson screwed me by basically handing them the ball 3 times in a row.
3-1 so far, Louisville was a tough loss. KY has me a little worried, I need them to bury Princeton after that Harvard game.
Only wrong pick was Louisville so far... Waiting to start my annual crash and burn sequence...

I'm still ok b/c all the team screwed me in the first round I never had making to the second so hopefully my 2nd round will be ok.
San Diego State is playing like a women's YMCA rec league team apparently. I can't watch it but the stats don't look good.
I also got Richmond beating Vandy and beating Morehead next round......
Eddie, Butler has made ONE deep run, and that was last year. The only other time they outperformed expectations was in 2003 when they went to sweet 16 as a #12 seed.
Old Dom is in generally a shittier program than Butler, but it's not like they weren't capable of pulling off an upset... and they nearly did.
How'd that logic work out for you?
8 vs. 9 games are 50/50 statistically, so it wouldn't have really been an upset.

Sounds like we've got some positive outcomes from the first round. Cartman, I don't fault your logic and yes, it was a good bet. Just not the best bet.

You guys will hate me for this, but I didn't even fill one out this year. I'm so far out of the loop on college basketball (something I normally follow fairly closely) this year that I couldn't even tell you who the top seeds are.
Without even looking: Kansas to win it all.
Neither do I. All I did was choose the higher seed, randomly picking an upset or two. Then say Duke wins it all.
