He is on leave while the trial runs its course. I actually doubt it was an intern, the summer analyst program ended on August 9th. The Bloomberg article actually had decent writing, the first one I read (NYPost or something similar, I think) was so much more sensationalist and obviously geared toward someone who doesn't understand business. They called him the "director of the initial public offering division," claimed he led the entire group, and generally overhyped his role at the firm.
