Never tried it. Definitely out of my CBA range of reasonableness to begin with. I just had a full on 1lb pork tenderloin that cost me under 1/3 the cost for lunch. Toss in the gnocchi and that was another under 1/3 cost and I have leftovers for a 9/10 dinner. So two full meals for not even 2/3 the cost of 5oz of jerky that's just a snack and it doesn't even seem to rate?
This is why I like the home dehydrating tools paired with hunting so I can make some legit venison or hog jerky. If not that, the processor will make it for you and it's still a way better CBA (turning 80lbs of venison into steaks, sausage, jerky or ground for only like $2/lb vs this?). Plus those tend to at least be 8/10. And you get to donate any excess to shelters at no cost so you're being despicable by booking social profits while you're at it.
