I want to announce that I'm an incoming Human at WSO

I want to announce that I am now an incoming Human at WSO! I am so honored to be a part of this highly, selective program (not just anyone can get an account, you know) that will further my need to be surrounded by morons in an anonymous environment.

I want to thank the HR department at WSO, my girlfriend, Stringer, Avon & Omar, my elementary school crossing guard, Patrick Louis, Andy Curtis, the guy that runs my local taco truck and all of my mentors that helped me along the way to this moment.

My progression on WSO:

  • Pretty good mid-career professional in tech/consulting
  • BO at a top BB
  • VP at said BB
  • Top bucket at BB for multiple years
  • SVP promotion
  • Company paid relocation to New York
  • Promotion to FO with a high-performance team
  • Still on track for my user name to come to fruition . . .

I strive to continue to call out shitposts and there will be no changes to my condescending tone because, well, you probably deserve it. I'm so happy to be sharing this great change in life with all of you!

+SB. I 100% agree. I remember when anon posting was used to share some really, really good info about a BB or some other info that needed to be anonymous. You used to look forward to anonymous posts because it usually meant you were going to learn something valuable.

Now anon posting is used by spineless cowards with no conviction in their beliefs so they have to hide behind an anonymous posting.

Two ways WSO can be improved in no time:

  1. No more anon posting
  2. No more claiming a title/work experience unless you've been vetted as a Certified Pro by WSO staff. It literally takes 1 email and less than a day to get certified . . . assuming you are legit. If you're on here talking a big game but haven't been certified, it's probably because you're a fugazi, which is nearly as bad as being anonymous.
