Down to 10 men(or women in this case) and a goal down in the extra time, when other teams would have simply succumbed to the disappointment or the blatant unfairness of the referee, the JWNT scored the equalizer in the 117th minute.
Can you believe that? An equalizer in the 117th minute. Talk about not giving up against the most unfair of odds, talk about a come back. Talk about justice.
This reminded of what Japan is all about. This win was so very typically Japanese.

Well, honestly the US game vs Brazil was a better example of this. Japan was a player down for like a min at the most and the game was all ready tied. The US pk shooters for some reason that I can not understand took the exact same shot that they did against Brazil.
