I’m fiscally conservative and socially conservative on some issues, but Republican Party as an institution is just not it.

They voted no to lower the cost of insulin: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.u…

1) Trump had already put in place an order that did this. One of Biden's first executive orders was to undo that insulin AND EpiPen price change. Now the Democrats are just trying to put it back in order to get some low hanging fruit approval points ahead of midterms to save their disastrous polling.  - Biden Administration Rescinds Trump Administration Insulin Pricing Rule

2) If you truly think that lowering the price of insulin is the only thing in that bill, I have a bridge in NYC to sell you. Grow up and learn how US politics works if you're going to try and pull the "I'm X group but disagree with X party because Y" as though everything is as simple as single-issue policy disagreement.

3) If you were actually conservative and choose THIS as the hill you die on for why the Republican party is rotten - not the trillions of dollars they've happily approved through omnibus bills to big corps & foreign nations, their initiation of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, their key role in advancing the security state after 9/11, or the war on drugs - you're an idiot.

Wilson | "If you don't have any enemies in life you have never stood up for anything" - Winston Churchill | "It's a testament to the sheer belligerence of the profession that people would rather argue about the 'risk-adjusted returns' of using inferior tooth cleaning methods." - kellycriterion

Trump never reduced the cost of insulin.  He created an executive order which was

a) Only for certain federally funded low income health centers which would not affect almost all insulin users (Only 1 in 11 get healthcare from them)

b) never even implemented by the time he left office

c) mostly in place in low income health centers already (Rachel Sachs, a law professor at Washington University in St. Louis with expertise on health law, agreed. She also said in an email that such centers “are already required to provide products and services at low or no cost to most of their patients.”)

But good point on the last thing!  The right spends trillions on wars and tax cuts for Soros while their base dies cause they can't afford insulin!  Democrats are far from perfect but the right's only solution to anything is trillions more for Soros.
