Insanity: The Trader Monthly Story

If you haven't read The Zeroes: My Misadventures in the Decade Wall Street Went Insane then it goes without saying that you're failing at life. But when I interviewed Randall Lane about the book in February 2011, he never mentioned to me that they were making it into a YouTube miniseries detailing the craziness that was Trader Monthly. You can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon it recently, and I thought you guys would get a kick out of it too. Here's the trailer, and all five episodes are posted after the jump. Enjoy:

Nice, will watch this later today and possibly peruse the book. One of the top traders from the mag that made the cover one year (goes by Braveheart) works on our desk now (though he runs a completely separate book from the rest of the traders) so will definitely ask him about this.

Does this correlate with the lifestyle you lived some years back?

edit: Lol, he's the guy on 0:15 of the trailer clip.

Very very remotely. I mean, we had our fun and blew a shit ton of money, but it was orders of magnitude mellower than a lot of these guys. Compared to some of the jamokes who made the cover, my wildest aspirations were downright pedestrian.

Pretty entertaining if you have a free half hour. Honestly just scares the crap out of me about what could happen next.

Edit: There is also an episode 5 thats not in this feed that wraps up the mini series.

"Now watch this drive." -W.
