I don't know why my search function wasn't returning anything relevant, but the first one you pasted is 8 years old and the second is IB/M&A related.

I found these two more relevant ones so mods feel free to delete this thread.

np. This question gets asked a lot, but always nice to find new good podcasts.

Arroz con Pollo

Jocko

Joe Rogan

Joe Rogan pre-Texas move, pre-MAGA, pre-Covid was good.

Now, he’s involved in way too many political topics for me. He’s not mostly wrong, but I used to watch his stuff to get away from the BS, now it consumes his podcast it feels like

I like rogan if he has a good guest, he's getting baked with duncan trussell, and some MMA ones. beyond that, he says the same tired shit over and over again. perhaps it's because he's producing more, or because he's gotten too big, but I find myself listening to maybe 25% of his episodes and enjoying maybe half of them these days

jocko is the shit, must listen

econtalk with russ roberts

lex fridman

huberman lab

stoic meditations for quick ones

duncan trussell if talking to a buddhist/meditation person

ralph nader radio hour (sometimes)

uncommon knowledge

and if I want politics I'll do a mix of ben shapiro, krystal and saagar, dave rubin, NPR, and NYT. I usually do this leading up to election time, I prefer not to bother with it in the interim.

I haven't quite gotten the bite but keep getting recs for the 'All-In' podcast.  Few guys with varying/impressive backgrounds discuss current topics and events.

Tim Dillon Show for comedic relief.  He's an acquired taste, but love how he finds humor in the darker truths of the world

Dissect podcast for analytical breakdown of popular albums (mainly hip hop)

Leading Voices in Real Estate, depending on the guest

love his podcast, hilarious stuff. Saw him live and that was fantastic too.

I love Joe Rogan but agree on the “pre-texas” comment, but for different reasons. I’ve just found his episodes to be uninteresting lately. Lex Freidman has a lot of guests on that I find really fascinating. I love film analysis, so Art of the Cut and The Treatment are great for cinephiles. Business related podcasts I like: Driven by Insight, Invest like the best, and leading voices in real estate.
