Introduction - Junior at a Cal State

Im a junior at a Cal State and will be graduating in a year. Ive heard a lot about how one should get his/her career path kicstarted by networking etc etc etc but what I really want to know, from the people on the board, is where you started off and how you got to where you currently are or if you're not yet there, how you plan on getting there? Basically, what you had to do or plan on doing to achieve your dream/goal.
