Has anyone done this successfully where they've either seen returns or have valuable pieces? Currently sitting on memorabilia that are to my valuation around 30k

Wow nice - what do you have?

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Muhammad Ali Signed picture, Real Madrid 2004/05 squad signed jersey, Chelsea 19/20 signed jersey, England 1966 WC Final Ticket, etc. the MA holds the most value

If your going to buy memorabilia hoping it goes up in price focus on cultural icons. Duncan is arguably better than Kobe, but everyone knows Kobe because he had the basketball culture in a chokehold. Names like Kobe, Jordan, Lebron, Messi, etc. will never go down in price because they won’t ever be forgotten by the general population. They are also going to be insanely expensive to buy, though.

I know, there’s an article where a Verstappen rookie card sold for 300k and he’s relatively new in terms of fame. Going to start purchasing rookie cards of players in soccer I think will be generational. IE Endrik
