Is inflation transitory still?

All we heard was that inflation would be transitory. When do you guys think this will cool off? Aren't YoY changes somewhat moot given where things were in 2020? Curious to hear some thoughts from people who are smarter than me. Should we be concerned?

I guess I'll just keep buying VOO and hope my raises make up for any inflation.

The money supply would have to revert to a previous level for it to 'pass', or enough economic value would have to have been generated by the new cash as to prevent it from causing prices to go up.  I don't think either of those things has or will happen, like ever.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.
