Is it worth living in SF or should I live closer to the office?
I am getting ready to move to the bay area and need some advice on housing. My office is in north Redwood City. I think living in SF would be more fun, but I'm not sure if it is worth the commute. Do you think it is worth the longer commute or should I live closer to the office? Any other suggestions on where to live are also appreciated.

I have the same question except my office is in Palo Alto - I think I’d rather live in SF, but would like to hear others thoughts since I heard the commute can be rough
I would personally prefer to have a shorter commute.
Depending on the office location, you could take the Caltrain. A Caltrain commute might not be that bad.

Don't live in SF, but my friend commutes every day from SF to Palo Alto. It's fine. He used to live in Palo Alto and got way too bored there, and so far has had no regrets on moving to the city
does your friend drive into PA or take the Cal Train? Do you know generally how long the commute is? Thank you!!
He drives, I want to say ~30-40 minutes? Certainly not nothing, but he was bored out of his mind before
