Is it Worth the Commute to Save Money on Rent in Banking

Will be working full time in banking - was wondering if it'd be worth it to save the extra money on rent by commuting from my parents place (~45 min - 1 hour commute) or renting a place in Manhattan next to my office. For context, I commuted from home for my summer internship in banking and didn't think it was too bad but don't know what it'd be like full time. Would appreciate any input!
