Is the Financial industry about to decline?
Given that we live in times of unprecedented loose money and high valuations that can’t be sustainable, do you believe that the financial industry is set to decline in this century? Private equity firms seem to be pushing companies around to each other without creating any value, Venture capital firms fund the fifth hundred food delivery start ups that can’t turn any profit while also having huge valuations, the AM&HF industry is declining and fees are decreasing, BofA recently predicted that this decade will be one of (real) negative returns for equities, debt among nations and privates is as high as it has ever been, and a pretty big crash, given today’s high valuations, seems to be inevitable in this decade.
So, do you think that the financial industry&headcount will decrease in this decade?
