Is the US falling or rising?
Hi, there are tons of different arguments on whether the US is stepping down from the superpower or rising to be incredibly superpower. How u guys think?

Where we really got fucked in the ass is with communism. If it weren’t for that I can’t think of any major enemies the United States would have.
The USSR may not ever have existed and we would have probably continued to be aligned with the Russian Empire which would have probably turned into a democracy after WW1.
The Republic of China would still be an ally of the United States if the People’s Republic never came to power.
Vietnam or Cambodia would have never happened. The Korean War would also be nonexistent. Iran or the Middle East would never have been invaded by communism.

Best of all 9/11 may never have happened. If we ignore conspiracy theories it all started with the Soviet Union invasion of Afghanistan.
However, this could be different depending on what happens in history, there could have been another movement that hurt the United States. Nazi Germany could have been more powerful or cause something else to happen.
