Isn't it funny how people who are hired via self-proclaimed diversity programs hate being called diversity hires?

i thought diversity was our strength?

There’s a guy who got an offer from JP Morgan through the firm’s “Proud to Be” program (for LGBT candidates). He’s now married with two kids.

These programs are a joke and are consistently abused.

Except he had to write a cover letter-ish type of thing to talk about his experience with the LGBT community (it was part of the application process), and he talked about his struggles with coming out as gay.

And yes I do have first hand knowledge of this. We lived in the same off campus building.

That's pretty funny ngl good for him clowning such a stupid program.

If I was a diverse hire, Tbh could give two shits what "kind of hire" I'm called. So long as I get paid and have a job.

Just don't be a prick to me and all else is cool. People care too much about titles and perception these days.
