Long story short, this guy's company stock tripled, adding 26.7 billion USD to his wealth. For scale, that's more wealth than that of all of WSO's members combined. His company doesn't seem to be particularly unique too - just another real estate company like Li Ka Shing's (edit: Wang Jianlin's) Wanda.

AFAIK Evergrande group controls a really strong soccer team in China, which won the Asia Champion League title a couple times. Their major field is still real estate though (seem to get into others in recent years)
