It's time to look into those who do not fit the mold

I think many companies are missing out on great talent, this because they either take interns who don't need to work during the summer, or have job openings for those who graduated recently; What about those of us with professional experience that are still in school and can't stop working to intern because we have responsibilities and bills to pay?
Companies may be surprised to know that there are some of us who while working towards a degree have gained substantial professional experience to go into analysis or investment banking, because of the courses we have taken, professional experience and self-taught knowledge about things like the market and stock trading, all which many graduates without work experience have no clue about. I strongly believe it's time for those of us who do not fit the mold (go to school for four years right out of high school, have no bills and can afford to intern during the summer) to get a chance to prove that professional experience, a degree in progress & self taught knowledge have given us the tools needed to succeed in certain fields of the financial industry.
