Mortgage crisis... Oh gawwdd here we go again. Media points the finger at the rich people. Nobody points out the federal housing commission requiring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to originate a ton of subprime loans resulting in an effective total of 40% of all mortgages. Media blames the banks for passing the risk around through financial instruments they don't understand. Peter J Wallison's "Hidden in Plain Sight" gives all the data, as well as his dissenting opinion in the 2010 financial crisis inquiry.

Always easier to push a "rich guy bad" narrative than to look at the data. GTFO 60 minutes Jamie's a baller.
