I moved to Brickell in Miami last month, currently working for a PE fund in Palm Beach and working remote for the time being so decided to make the jump.

What are your initial thoughts so far?
I am liking it so far, COVID makes it a bit more difficult so far to get to meet a ton of new people but I've met my fair share. The city has a lot to offer, and the weather right now is unreal.
Ask that guy who keeps posting about his Uncle moving to Miami. He may be able to help.....

Hahhahaha no just some random kid that kept dropping lines about his uncle moving to Miami. The uncle was trying to figure out what nice car to buy lol. I believe he was also in real estate too.

Lived in Brickell for a summer, great time. You'll love it.
It's been a great start, thanks! Focusing on meeting like-minded people right now and finding the right group of friends but played a ton of soccer and golf already. And the restaurant / happy hour scene is pretty great too.
How do you like H.I.G. so far?
I'm actually not at HIG, don't think I could work there tbh. I work for a fund a bit north of Miami and will commute when we're back in the office post COVID (hopefully not 5 days a week).
