- Patience, Persistence, Fortitude - keep your head up despite any difficulties - sounds a bit cheesey but look at Simone Biles who just won all-around Gold. When she bowed out of the last Olympics for mental health issues she was called a loser and a quitter - she kept moving forward and look at her now
- Gratitude - no matter where we all are and all we are going through, there is always something to be grateful for - health, family, friends, time, not worrying about where our next meal is coming from, or simply just being alive
- The Journey is the Destination - life is not about the destination (6 feet under in all cases!) - it's about the journey along the way. There's no good or bad - it's all part of the ride
- Be Kind - there's so much crap out there in the world today and most of us living in the US are steeped in this consumerist/materialist culture/environment. It's easy to try to "win". It's hard to remember to be kind and give back (including on this forum)
Take care of your body, your mind, and your relationships - everything else will follow. Cheers!
