Kid is Stalking my LinkedIn

Back during the school year, this guy and I competed for this one position on campus. I got it and he didn't. Since then, he frequently visits my LinkedIn profile - frequently as in once every 4 or 5 days. He has been doing it the entire spring semester. It's almost like he expects me to put my home address on there.

lol has anything like this happened to you? Should I send him a message about this or should I just sit back and laugh?

Confession - when I've had no sleep for weeks and I feel completely unmotivated, I sometimes pull up the LinkedIn profile of someone that I feel is at or above my performance level (not the same person - that would be even weirder). Of course I turn off the ability for others to see that I've viewed their profile - I don't want to creep anyone out. I leave the browser open while I'm doing my work, so that whenever I want to slack off, I see their name and tell myself they're probably out there killing it right now. Call it creepy, but it's a motivation tool I use. I think everyone should have an arch-nemesis.

This guy might admire your skills/background; he might be checking back constantly because he wants to know what else you're doing, what else you're accomplishing. Maybe he wants to find out what it is you have that he doesn't. Maybe he's using your profile as a "gold standard" because he knows you are good enough to get the internship and is trying to make his accomplishments line up with yours.

Or maybe he's a homicidal pyscho. I vote you email him and (diplomatically) let him know there is an option to not let other people see when they've viewed your profile. Just because I want to hear what happens.

stalk the shit out of his sister...then sneak into her house at a later date, and call him when you're doing it...tell him he has 5 minutes to get there
