LA client meetings

Hi all, I'm on holiday on the west coast and as a Brit who's used to being able to walk or get public transport to client meetings one thing has really stuck out - how do you get to meetings in cities such as LA, which seem deliberately designed to be anti-walking and have minimal public transport? Do you all drive and just sit in traffic? Get a taxi and also sit in traffic? It feels like an hour meeting would need an hour buffer either side to account for travel time.

Yeah, you can uber where you need to, or rent a car. That's about it. If you just have 1-2 locations you need to be at per day taxi/ride share isn't too bad, but if it's more than that I'd rent a car.

Also you should plan your hotels/accommodations with this in mind so that you don't have that buffer. Though again, if you have multiple places to be you'll need to factor in the travel times.
