Laptop for IB: Apple or Microsoft?
which laptop do you have and why did you choose them? What do you think could be the best purchase for someone who works in this sector?

Career Resources
Most of my corporate laptops are Dell or HP. Windows, all of them.
Some, rarely, use a Macbook Pro in VC. But that is a personal choice when BYOD is allowed. No real support from the IT folks.

Microsoft, all of IB runs on office. It's not even up for debate. The actual computer doesn't matter as much - the Lenovo Thinkpad/Yoga is a popular one once you start FT, and should prioritize RAM/higher quality Intel chip to make models run faster. But you can do most of your work off a $300 chromebook, it's just going to be slower
You can technically run your virtual desktop through an Apple computer with an external keyboard - I have done this in a pinch but it's really not a great first option. You're better off buying a really cheap second computer to run work through if you're set on having a Mac for personal use
