Law --> Finance?

Anyone here who pulled the move from law to finance (IB/PE) and could answer on those?

  1. How you've made the move (network, applied directly, etc.) + at what moment in your career
  2. Do you work slower due to your lack of maths or Excel skills compared to your peers? Ways to improve on that?
  3. Comparison between things that you noticed were different in finance compared to law (style of work, management, etc.)? Things to keep in mind before joining IB/PE?
  4. Was it worth it?
