plusses of working on the day after thanksgiving:

  • didn't have to waste a vacation day. one extra vacation day to use at my discretion next year
  • didn't have to travel to see the family. working was a great excuse to make them come to me.
  • Super laid back, easy day.
  • about 5 other people in the office.
  • left work at 3:00pm - it was like a vacation despite the morning commute.
