I partially agree to it but not completely.
Funny how when you get your job at Goldman Sachs, the base of the pyramid transforms into your end of the year bonus.
...But because some god forsaken emerging markets division in Bangladesh didn't hit their quota. You get 40% of what you were expecting, and now you're nothing but an empty shell doused in the artificial light of your computer monitor. Searching for answers in the night. Clinging onto the CEO's reassurances that next year will be better... Emotionless. Soulless. Destitute.
But what about the McKinsey and BX internships?
And I would definitely put a GS FT role at the top of the pyramid. GS is love, GS is life. Blankfein is God.
I think the formatting may have gotten messed up when you posted it...this is how it should look:

Isn't the hierarchy of needs suppose to be bottom up? Note how if you take the GS internship out of the picture you need physiological then food etc.
This picture is just saying the that internship is the most important thing in the hierarchy. You'd think someone with a humanities degree would know this.
Not that I've interned at GS, but aren't the internship and food/sex/sleep mutually exclusive? If so, this pyramid is flawed.
I'm only familiar with the scholar Pusha T's "M.P.A." hierarchy of necessities: money, pussy, alcohol.
