Based on the highest ranked content on WSO, it seems like you're in a good position to find a roommate with a similar professional background and interests. Your budget aligns well with the general advice given for those working in finance and looking for housing in London. Here are some tips and insights that might help you in your search:

  1. Ideal Areas: Given your preference for areas like Pimlico and Westminster due to their proximity to Green Park, you're looking in some of the more upscale and centrally located parts of London. These areas are well-regarded for their safety, amenities, and ease of access to other parts of the city.

  2. Budget: With a budget of £1500-2000 per month each, you're positioned towards the higher end of the rental market, which should afford you a comfortable living situation. This budget is quite reasonable for the areas you're targeting and should allow for a good selection of flats.

  3. Finding a Roommate: Given your professional background as an AN2 at a credit HF, you might want to connect with others in the finance community. The WSO forums are a great place to start, as many users are in similar industries and might be looking for roommates or have advice on where to live. Additionally, there are specific threads dedicated to housing and roommate searches that could be beneficial.

  4. Timing: Looking to move in the 2nd or 3rd week of March gives you a decent amount of time to find the right flat and roommate. It's good to start your search early to ensure you have enough options and can secure your preferred accommodation.

  5. Networking and Social Media: Don't underestimate the power of networking within your professional circles and on social media platforms. LinkedIn, Facebook groups dedicated to London housing, and even Twitter can be useful resources for finding a roommate.

  6. Safety and Viewings: Always ensure that you meet potential roommates in a safe, public place and view flats together to ensure that both of you are on the same page regarding expectations and living standards.

Remember, finding the right roommate and flat can take some time, so patience and due diligence are key. Good luck with your search!
