well Japan has a relatively low population for it's economic position, probably says something about their overall organization/work ethic/society-based thinking
and they really do not like black people, ha I was at a bus stop one time and this old Japanese guy starting calling this black dude with a jersey on Lebron! haha he followed him around saying Lebron! Lebron! can I have an autograph Lebron.
They stereotype them, that's for sure, but I don't think that equates to hatred or even dislike.

Blacks are treated better in Japan than in the US. A prof at my school told us that no cab ever refused to pick him up in Japan, no shopkeepers followed him around, and there were even places that knew how to cut African hair in Tokyo. This could be due to the fact that the blacks in Japan are mainly professionals, sometimes military. So they are a special bunch. He was waxing so joyously about the place it was getting annoying.
