Going to a BB which does not provide WFH laptops and instead uses a virtual desktop setup. Need to replace my personal mac but was also thinking of getting a Thinkpad. Would buying a Mac and using a Windows keyboard work since virtual desktop is Windows based? Thanks!

Think it’s far cheaper for firms to cut laptops and use virtual desktop login. Annoying but that’s the way it is
It’s also easier for firms to ensure compliance and data security this way, as nothing is stored locally when using remote desktop.
Use Mac with no mouse and only touchpad 👍In all seriousness use Windows PC because your short cuts / muscle memory will transfer to other computers easily, you will have teams installed already, and it will be more compatible with office
