Master in Finance - Exchange program options
I'm currently choosing between the following schools:
WU Vienna
Copenhagen Business School
HEC
ESSEC
Erasmus Rotterdam
Imperial
St. Gallen
Bocconi
WHU
ESCP
EDHEC
Frankfurt School of Management
I am looking for a program that balances academic excellence and strong CV branding with a vibrant social scene. But I also want to have a great nightlife, an active club culture, and the chance to meet attractive and hot girls.
For context, I’m a 29-year-old guy, 170cm/70kg, fit/muscular build, with mid-length wavy light brown hair. Character-wise, I’m a very chill, smiling, and outgoing person. I speak fluent English and Spanish, but I don't know any French or German.
Don’t go to Frankfurt pls
Haha is it really that bad?
Bocconi and ESCP for hot girls (thank me later).
And Essec?
If you're into Asians lol
First not true and what an idiot. Go to St Gallen or Erasmus if you want to learn something!
Really? U put them above Bocconi, Imperial and/or HEC which are also on the list?
YES.
Copenhagen is paradise, but it's difficult to pull there as an international
avoid essec, it’s over an hour from paris in a shithole so it’s definitely not the „parisian” experience u can imagine. i’d also drop german schools and would put bocconi as top choice for experience and brand name
Thanks for shedding some light on this. What do u think about Bocconi when comparing it to HEC and Imperial?
I’m a little doubtful about Bocconi, as I’m not completely sure if I want to be in Italy… I’m completely sure about the good quality of its programs, but I’m doubtful about the social life and the nightlife there… I feel I would easily sacrifice that for HEC or Imperial (although I guess London has a pretty decent social life), but I’m not sure I feel the same about Bocconi.
I feel more attracted to kinda more “Northern European” culture, but I’m not sure if choosing RSM / CBS / WU Vienna / even HSG (although I’d rather be in a bigger city and Bocconi seems to be a level above it) over Bocconi would be the right decision.
What’s your opinion?
Essec campus is in one of the most crime ridden parts of France. Don't know why they chose to be situated there
ESSEC campus location is a mix of north africa and some shithole in the middle east. avoid.
Frankfurt is a shithole, St gallen is in a very tiny boring ass city. whu depends which campus. Vienna is interesting. Essec is situated in a shit hole but campus is alright though. Imperial is decent location but social life is crap. Hec has a beautiful campus, you don't need to leave it to have a good night life and meet people. Escp république campus is amazing and the surrounding area but it's in renovation so you're stuck with Champerret. Bocconi is nice, American style campus.
Have any idea about CBS or RSM?
