Los Altos Hills (3-4K /month - unlikely you will find an apartment)
4. Mountain View (2-3k / month - you might get an apartment) 5. Beg for more money or buy a car and live in Tracy because just about every other place in the Valley costs upwards of (2k / month)

Thoughts about living in SF and commuting? How many people do that?
Its a killer to commute that far. BART doesnt go that far so you have to transfer to CalTrain. Driving in the bay blows. You are better off living in San Jose.
