Pass. These will just be soccer mom SUVs and status symbols where I live. The old school G-Wagens were true civlian versions of military vehicles. These are just the higher ride height version of the S-class. Remember that old commercial where every mom rolled up to pick up their kids in a champagne colored Lexus RX? This, is that. At least where I live that is. Might be a bit jaded, I admit.
I'd rather have something more hardcore like a RAM TRX. Or especially a new FJ300 LandCruiser if we could buy regular versions here. You can buy armored up versions that come in under a different producer. But I don't know about you, I don't expect having to fare through 7.62x39 or grenades being thrown at me. The thing is built on the Tundra platform! Which is built here in the states and every one comes off the line with a Texas flag sticker! And Aus which is like the biggest LC market out there gets a vehcile built off another built in the US.?! Way to fail Toyota. I'll get off my soapbox now.
