I hate Kobe. Made my Nuggets look like D3 college players last year :(

I think it will go to 7 games, with the Lakers eventually taking the series, mainly because they are healthier and younger than the C's, and when you add in Phil's coaching vs. Doc's, it seems like a no brainer to me that the Lakers take this. Then again, stranger things have happened (i.e. Delonte getting with Bron Bron's mama during the divisional round).

Both teams are incredibly deep, with players that could start on most teams going at least 7 or 8 deep. Both teams have very viable big men, and superb guard play. It's going to be a blast watching this series.

You seem to forget it was the same Doc Rivers who earned his PhD when playing small against the Lakers in the 2008 NBA Finals. I think the Celtics match up well against the Lakers and they take it in 7.

I think your mom huffed paint while you were still cooking and the Lakers take it in 7.

Rondo for finals MVP. Celtics in 6. 'Nuff said.

How have the Lakers been the most consistent team in the playoffs? Going to 6 against the eight-seeded Thunder and blowing leads like it's their job (see today's 18 point lead vanishing quickly). Odom, Artest have both struggled to knock down open shots at times. Gasol and Bynum have not been consistent at all. Not to mention that the Lakers have not had to face a team with legitimate length to match them yet. Kobe is keeping LA alive right now, but will be swarmed by the C's superior team defense. Stop just reading the stat sheets after every game and actually watch / try playing basketball once in a while.

This has the potential to be a 7 game series, and I think it comes down to hustle at the end.

I give it to Lakers in 6 or 7 for a few reasons: revenge from a few years back, home court advantage, less injury-prone, the Black Mamba.

Lakers in 5, at most 6.

I'm from Boston and will be cheering on the Celtics...

Cavs were the favorite - C's in 6.

Magic were then the favorite - C's in 6.

How are they still the underdog? Same starting five as '08, a little older but they can still play, and Rondo is now a top 10 player easy. Lakers are way too soft to match the C's toughness.
