Michael Penn - Donuts + Coffee = GS career?
http://dealbreaker.com/2013/08/goldman-sachs-hopeful-differentiating-hi…
Not too sure if you guys have seen this already, but he's pretty entrepreneurial. I have my doubts though, do GS guys typically fall for these things? Probably not something which works for companies/offices in my area (Southeast Asia).
ps. I avoided using "IB" cos I have no idea what this guy is applying into.
i face palmed when he answered "why IB?" on national television...
if ur reading this, gl penn, I hope you land the job
He might get an interview but that's probably it. At least he has a drive.
"It's a game. It's like chess"
oh jesus
Seconded! But if you check out his out his resume, www.hiremichealpenn.com, he was "U.S. Chess Federation National Co-Champion, 1998" -so the guy should know chess...

I'm pretty sure he reads WSO too. It used to have an awful "Objective" section, I made an (overthetop) deal about how awful it was in another thread here (http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/guy-hands-out-free-coffee-to-get-…) and now he no longer has an objective section. Interesting.
Michael, if you are reading, your "What I have to offer" section sucks just as much. It is 100% bullshit buzzwords.
Haha, if he doesn't that is an odd coincidence. On the other hand, if he does then he ought to have known better from browsing some of all the resume threads. Might have been a bit over the top, but hey, it worked.
