USA basketball is likely to inspire more Americans to skip work than any other sport during the Olympic Games, according to a recent study.
Better yet, 55 million Americans said they would watch an Olympic event live if it happened during working hours.
Personally, I don't like watching because of the US team. They are too good, and because of that there is almost no competition.

I really do not care about the Olympics but maybe because I'm Canadian and we never do well in the summer ones.
haha this is definitely true, my company set out an email monday afternoon saying that streaming events such as the olympics violates our tech policy. I was definitely streaming the game when I received that email
& I actually like watching the US completely assert their dominance on other nations in basketball, that is what America is all about
