Just delete stuff you don’t want others to see and/or realize at the end of the day everything will become known

I use BitDefender Mobile Security for my phone, it comes with a secure VPN service that allows for fast and secure web browsing on mobile devices. It can also remotely locate, lock, and wipe lost or stolen devices, the application provides account privacy to verify whether or not your email account has been breached.

It depends on how far you want to go.

If you only need a basic phone with gps, internet, and very select few apps you can absolutely take control of your personal information. Let me walk you through in brevity.

  • Purchase phone in cash.
  • Purchase sim in cash.
  • Purchase gift cards or crypto currency
  • set up up an alias for your phone registration
  • Set up your phone
    • See that phone number?  you're never giving it out to family, friends or acquaintances.
  • Get google voice - port over your current number
    • Random as people can't buy your location on the internet now
  • obtain a VOIP front-end app on your phone link it to google voice.
  • Optional: set up additional VOIP numbers for unique situations. IE. one phone number for random shit like ordering takeout or calling local businesses, one phone number for dating, and one phone number for non important accounts such as amazon

The simplified version:

  • I-phone
    • Pay Cash
    • Create new I cloud account and set up phone from a random coffee shop
    • Download signal or an encrypted messaging app and tell people to use it.
      • If you opt for a paid service with more credibility feel free to purchase accounts for people you're close with to bring them on board. It shouldn't run you more than $100 for a small group of people. Consider it a privacy fee.
    • Download MySudo for voip numbers
    • don't connect apps with old identity to your phone.
    • don't download random apps
    • delete whatsapp and facebook

More involved:

  • Google Pixel
    • Pay Cash
    • Setup via wifi
    • cash for sim
    • Install graphene OS
    • Port phone to google as above
    • Purchase Additional VOIP subscriptions as needed
      • in cash or cash equivalents
    • turn of location services unless you need for GPS or something
    • use bare minimum apps
      • download apps from aurora store  and deny permissions

Your cell provider and people with authority or resources can find you, but your average joe cant

Consider paying using cash instead of CC.

If you go either of these routes you REALLY need to commit. If you cross contaminate your new phone identity with your old identity, all your work and money will be for nothing.

I realize this may seem like a lot but consider making baby steps. For example, if you already have an Iphone and aren't ready to commit Ie. uninstall facebook, stop using whatsapp, uninstall unnecessary apps, purchase a vpn as needed, download mysudo. Be more selective with who you give your phone number to and decline providing that info at places that don't needed like starbucks or the haircut place.

You're going to have to get used to things not being free. Consider purchasing a new e-mail account with an encrypted mail provider that allows multiple e-mails under the same account. If you're concerned about your phone then you should also consider being concerned about your e-mail.

Next step: Pay attorney to set up the most anonymous company you can. Purchase vehicle you can afford in cash.
