Post of the Week:

@"rufiolove" leads us off this week with the latest installment in his gif-happy series entitled, "Evolution of the Financier". I know he says it doesn't take too long to make these, but that sounds like false modesty to me. These posts are damn clever, and this particular post earned 20 Silver Bananas and 34 Facebook Likes. Well done, sir!

Comment of the Week:

There was a lot of solid advice given to @"CastaTroy" in his thread, "I Just Got Fired", but the comment you guys liked the best was written by @"KimchiNoodleSoup" where he advised against lying on your resume and further advised that you should take any finance job that comes down the pike just to put a little resume distance between yourself and the employer who fired you. That advice earned @"KimchiNoodleSoup" 5 Silver Bananas.

Caption Contest Winner:

Congratulations to @"ak635" for winning this week's caption contest with the pithy observation, "And on the 3rd day, the MD said, 'Let there be pitchbooks.' And there were pitchbooks. And they were properly formatted." You win a WSO T-shirt and the admiration of your fellow monkeys!

Most Active Monkeys:

@"big unit" and @"QuackQuack" led the pack over the past week, clocking in with 106 and 100 banana points respectively. @"Going Concern" came in third with 77 banana points, and yours truly was batting clean-up with 76. C'mon, guys. The holidays are over. It's time to get back to work. There's no way 106 banana points should be leading the pack, and there's no way I should be anywhere near the top 5.

That's it for this Monday, fellas. Get out there and kill it this week!
