MOVIE THEORY AMERICAN PSYCHO/BATMAN

I just realised when re-watching American Psycho and Batman since my friend doesn't know who Christian Bale is and she needs to do a film study.

The card scene reminds me because she accidentally wrote by mistake. Bateman but forgot the E. Which makes Batman. Could this be a hint from the director/C.Bale?

CAN PATRICK BATEMAN ACTUALLY BE BATMAN AFTER HE TOOK THE BOMB AWAY FROM GOTHAM TO EXPLODE? OR PATRICK GONE CRAZY AFTER THE MURDERING THING HE WENT TO MEDITATE IN THE HIMALAYAS AND CAME BACK AND REBRANDED HIS FAMILY M&A TO WAYNE CORP. HOLY SHIT WOWOWOOW

No. Nice try though. Think long and hard about the time periods for both movies, technology, everything. Personalities might match up but there’s too many differences to say The Dark Knight came before American Psycho.
