Moving back to NY?

For those of you that have moved away since COVID began, what are you plans for returning to Manhattan (if any) ? I personally have been out of the city for a while now, and have no real desire to return. It’s likely that my company will force me back, but if given the opportunity I would escape to TX/FL in a heart beat.

Curious to what others are planning on doing and what your company is expecting from you.

Returning back to the city regardless is not really a first preference of mine, but neither is being remote full-time. Looking for an opportunity elsewhere for better work and life balance that either doesn't hurt my wallet or isn't compromising too much is what I'm focusing on. Going to Texas is a thought, but might be a little too far from family for me.
