My first post

Hello Everybody!

My name is Max and this is my first post. I'm sure this post will be the start of a long and complex relationship between me and this site. I hope to utilize this site to knock the socks of any interviewer who crosses my path! Lets see what can I say about myself. I'm young, relatively good looking, kinda on the short side, about a buck 50, and need more sleep.

I go to a small state school in the midwest and when I graduate I want to do something that I will enjoy for the rest of my life. I don't know what that means. Maybe that involves consulting, i-banking, or being an HR associate at a utility company. I'm sure that reading through the many insightful, thoughtful posts on this site will help to formulate a new interest in a subject that I have a small inkling of passion for OR force me to complete re-examine my career path and mope around my house depressed.

I hope that you guys can hang with me through my ups and downs and give me useful advice and I can provide the same for you. I honestly am grateful to have this site and lets make the best out of it, both you and me!

Thanks, Max

I am saddened that my first post due such derisive comments that mock the seriousness of this post. But after spending a little bit of time on the site, I have grown accustomed to the "mud-slinging" that happens between "pals". So I am thanking you fellas for inviting me into your club!

I'll step up so that he realizes not everyone in the financial industry is a douche. Sup kid - look around , search threads , find interview and recruiting advice and hopefully you can get a good job and pay it forward.

BTW I got my first question:

Who wants to be lucky enough to be the first person to answer it? Alright here goes.

Though most people don't care about this thread, the few members and their posts along with my 3, are all generating auto replies to my inbox. I already have a bunch of emails that I need to sort and go through and I can't have WSO comment emails on my mail as well. But I don't want to lose the chance that I'll miss something important and won't have a link to see which important I.B.ER or M.C.er posted on my query. Please assist as your input is both valuable and expected!

Thanks! Max
