Need advice on breaking into finance

Hello, I am going into my last year of high school and after that, college. The college I attend will likely not be a target school. I need general advice on what my actions should be to get into a career in finance. Anything is appreciated, thank you.

So let me get this straight: you possess the mental faculties to find and get on to this website - WallStreetOasis.com - and type up a post, or plea even, yet you are unable to use Google, or even WSO's own search bar, to research a question so simple and so frequently asked and answered, in all its forms and contingencies. If you go on like this, expecting everything in life to be handed to you on a silver platter while expending minimal effort yourself, I regret to tell you that your prospects in a field as demanding and intense as finance will be very limited.
