Hi everyone,
EDIT: Is it possible to have negative revenue in a period assuming there is a lot of merchandise returns?
Thanks

Who cares? It's just a semantic/accounting issue . If I define net revenue as sales less rebates and returns, then yes, of course revenue can in theory be negative. If I'm accounting for that return in another way, as some sort of below-the-revenue-line adjustment, then obviously not. Not really sure what the point of this question is.
I care because I'm doing a modeling exam with 3 years of monthly historicals where net revenue is positive in the historical period then is negative for most months in the projection period which I've never seen before lol just was confused for a minute there but I got it now. Thanks
