Netflix Aims To Skip That Title Sequence

Netflix is currently testing a new function that will allow viewers to skip over a show's title sequence. This "skip intro" button is already being extolled by computer-streamers who are tired of watching a show's intro over and over again, especially while binge watching.

In my opinion, the marginal benefit from skipping that one minute and couple seconds is worth the development of the "skip intro" button. Netflix viewers value convenience and ease - and being able to bypass even a minor delay in the viewing of an episode will fill them with satisfaction.

What do you think of Netflix's new button? Are you excited to use it, or do you think it's no big deal?

@scorpio20", it's an interesting feature, but honestly, I would rather have TV shows just come up with good intros. The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Real Time With Bill Maher (the seasons before the current one), The Wire, and Dexter, in no particular order, all have intros that I purposely watched and never skipped. The vast majority of TV shows just have terrible intros that add nothing to the show itself.
