Norm for Staying in Touch Pre-Internship?
I accepted a ’27 SA IB offer a few months ago (so still over a year out), and I’ll be interning in NYC this summer. Is it appropriate to reach out to people on the team while I’m there, or is it better to wait until closer to the internship? What’s the norm for staying in touch given how far out the timeline is? Just want to be respectful of their time. Thanks yall!

Anyhow, if there are people you actually know and got on with, it’s totally normal to grab coffee or lunch or drinks. But if it’s just the random dude who interviewed you, don’t act like a little brother wanting to tag along to a party.
